Don't worry, you won't be needing a 4w4 to get here!
But it does come in handy if you don't want your feet getting wet! But where's the fun in that!!
Booloumba Creek is just on the outskirts of Kenilworth, Sunshine Coast, QLD.
I haven't been camping here yet, but it is on my list for summer. They have a few different camp sites to choose from, Depending on how far in to the national park your would like to go. My favourite is Camp site 3. Surrounded by crystal clear water hole's and stunning hiking tracks.

On Foot? When you arrive at the first water crossing park your car! Grab your snacks and make your way through the first two crossings. You will go past Camp site 1, there is a nice hiking trail that you can access if you walk down through that campsite and go across the stepping stone's in to the forest. Perfect for all age's its only a short trail to get to the day use area... If not keep following the road around you will come to an intersection turn left and follow it down to another water crossing before making your way to the day use area. follow the road around and walk down along the creek for about 80 meters and you will arrive at the most beautiful water hole.

So pay no attention to Google when it tells you that you will need a 4W4 to explore this beautiful part of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland!!
If your planning on camping here make sure you book your permits online, You can do so at:
