Day trip to the Gold Coast Hinterland. Waterfalls, lush forest & picturesque lookouts...

Adventure feeds my soul, Take's me out of my comfort zone & puts me in situations where i have to decide which path to take or what risk is worth taking...
Springbrook National park is located about an hour south of Brisbane,QLD, Australia. Hidden away in the Gold Coast Hinterland you will be blown away with the amazing waterfalls and hiking trails.
We set off on our day trip from the Sunshine Coast and made our way out to the national park, after a quick shopping stop at Brisbane DFO. We arrived at the first look out. Amazed with the view, I new this place was going to be Awesome!

I don't really like how built up the Gold Coast is, especially when trying to get from A to B. But from this lookout it looked so stunning, With the high rises in the far distance, its like being in two different
worlds.
I have noticed a lot lately that i compare my self to a tiny ant when ever i am out in the middle of nowhere! It's like i look up and realise how small i am in this world. which brings me back to the reason i wanted to go here so badly!
Welcome to Twin Falls.

Unfortunately one of the twins was putting on a better show for us then the other!
But seriously how magical is this place & it's only a two hour circuit... including the time it took us to stop and be amazed at every cave, moss covered rock and lookout.
You will find out at some point that i love moss!.... It's not a secret, if i see that bright green moss i will be getting in amongst it!. This trail gave me so many opportunities to do so.

Bring on the Natural Bridge!
For the past few weeks I became a Instagram stalker of people who had visited this Natural Bridge. I had sussed out where it was and planned my day off based around seeing this perfection mother nature so kindly left within driving distance from my home!
The sun has been setting at around 5 - 5.30pm, when we arrived at the Natural Bridge it was getting close to this time. checking out the info sign to navigate our way, we headed in the opposite direction to the rest of the other explorers hoping to beat them to the destination and get some good photos. which we did! so here's a heads up, go in a clockwise direction around the trail and the walk back will also be easier.

We made our way down the trail/ boardwalk crossing over the creek & looping in to the bottom of the Natural Bridge. Inside the cave the waterfall is so loud, creating a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. Honestly i cant wait to go back to this part of the park and have a picnic while watching the glow worms put on their show.

Get out & EXPLORE...
The East Coast of Queensland has so many places to explore for all ages, its up to you to go find. Escape the busy life and just be you. XO
